Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation under night shift conditions
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and foundation work with precision
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, welders) during complex installations
- Participate in emergency response procedures for on-site incidents
- Complete daily progress reports and equipment maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or relevant trade certification
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety-first practices
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
