Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling operations
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with OSHA certification
- Assist skilled tradesmen in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Maintain strict safety compliance and hazard mitigation protocols
- Perform equipment maintenance and quality control inspections
- Coordinate material deliveries and inventory management
- Document daily progress and report site issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Class B CDL or heavy machinery operation license preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and construction terminology
- Reliable transportation to worksites across Portland metro area
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
