Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, and staging construction materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project needs.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and skid steers as certified.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Assist in basic demolition and site preparation activities.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from foremen to ensure project timelines are met.
- Transport debris and waste materials to designated disposal areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction labor, general labor, or a related trade.
- Ability to work nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA) is a plus.
