Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site duties.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in strict accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting heavy objects, and site preparation.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from site supervisors and project managers.
- Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn and utilized correctly.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be willing to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to quality.
- Communication: Basic math skills for measurements and material counts.
- License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
- Experience: No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided for the right candidate.
