We are looking for reliable individuals who take pride in their work and want to contribute to building our community’s infrastructure.
Working the night shift offers a unique opportunity to work in a quieter environment, often with fewer distractions. You will play a pivotal role in our daily operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely while the rest of the city sleeps.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Cleanup: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and ensuring work areas are clean and organized.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools and light machinery (e.g., skid steers, generators) safely under the supervision of the site foreman.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including concrete pouring, framing, drywall hanging, and general carpentry tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report hazards immediately.
- Quality Assurance: Help maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure all materials are stored correctly for the next shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a construction laborer is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to stand, walk, kneel, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM) and weekends as required.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with crew leads and other team members.
- Tools: Basic understanding of hand and power tools is a plus.
