Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and cleaning areas, setting up scaffolding, and securing barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and concrete finishers, by carrying supplies and performing basic tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate power tools, forklifts, and other heavy machinery as required.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Documentation: Assist in basic site documentation and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for 8-10 hours a day, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on concrete.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM).
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record are preferred.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Safety Mindset: Commitment to following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
