Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assembly: Help assemble, dismantle, and move structures, including walls and frameworks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations.
- Support: Provide general support to skilled tradesmen, including mixing concrete, carrying lumber, and performing basic measurements.
- Documentation: Assist in tracking inventory and logging daily work progress.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (4:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; trade school graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift; ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Safety: Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus.
