Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations and setup.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as forklifts and skid steers safely.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of debris to maintain strict OSHA compliance.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, floor plans, and safety diagrams.
- Monitor site safety and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM to 6:00 AM) on a consistent schedule.
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long periods.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to follow instructions quickly.
