Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, ironworkers) with various tasks and operations.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely and correctly.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and adhering to site cleanliness standards.
- Measurement & Prep: Perform basic measurements and prepare work areas according to blueprints or diagrams.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physical Fitness: Must possess the physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
