Responsibilities
- Operate Construction Equipment: Safely operate power tools, forklifts, skid steers, and other heavy machinery as required.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, ensuring the job site is organized and efficient.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, excavating, and preparing construction sites for foundation and framing work.
- Cleanup & Maintenance: Perform daily cleanup of the work area, removing debris and waste to ensure a tidy site.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including mixing concrete, digging trenches, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with shift supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, general labor, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driverβs license and a social security card.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time every day.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand safety signage and instructions.
