Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Load and unload construction materials using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with their tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- Operate heavy machinery or power tools as required and trained.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols strictly.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors regarding project needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to work night shifts consistently (must be available evenings/overnight).
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills for safety signage and instructions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
