Responsibilities
- Perform general physical labor tasks on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various project tasks.
- Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and tools safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams under supervision.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and procedures.
- Physically fit and capable of standing, walking, and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from site supervisors.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not always required.
