Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation under night shift conditions
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) and hand tools with precision and safety compliance
- Assist skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure OSHA standards and project specifications are met
- Maintain equipment functionality through pre/post-shift inspections and basic maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow efficiency and project timelines
- Document daily progress and material usage in digital reporting systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience or relevant trade certification
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and current driver's license
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in variable weather conditions
- Experience operating heavy machinery (CPC card preferred)
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement calculation skills
- Flexibility to work 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM) with rotating weekends
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
