Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing and cleaning areas, digging trenches, and setting forms for concrete.
- Material Handling: Transport, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, cranes, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools, including jackhammers, saws, and drills, under supervision.
- Mixing & Pouring: Mix concrete, mortar, or other materials according to specifications and pour them into molds or forms.
- Cleanup & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials daily.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience as a general laborer or in construction is preferred but not required (training available).
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction tools and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
