Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, hauling, and lifting heavy materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks as directed by the site supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and adhering to safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and organize construction sites efficiently.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as needed for specific project requirements.
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods on uneven terrain.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a standard tape measure.
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not always required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented attitude.
