Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Operate hand and power tools, as well as basic construction machinery, under the supervision of a foreman.
- Perform site grading, digging, and leveling to prepare for specific construction tasks.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Transport heavy materials between storage and work zones using dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
- Follow verbal and written instructions to complete daily tasks accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends with high energy and reliability.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
- Basic math skills and ability to read basic blueprints or schematics is a plus.
- Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus.
