Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently at the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing work areas, including clearing debris, grading, and setting up temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools and equipment (e.g., saws, drills, compressors) under supervision to support various trade operations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a zero-injury work environment.
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized job site at the end of each shift to ensure efficiency for the following day.
- Assistance: Support journey-level craft workers (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with basic tasks as directed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, general labor, or warehouse work is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and climbing.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM).
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Communication: Basic reading and math skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential.
