Job Summary:
The Construction Laborer will assist in various aspects of construction projects, including site preparation, material handling, and basic carpentry. You will work closely with our skilled trades team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, rocks, or other obstructions.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, pressure washers, and other machinery safely under supervision.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with basic tasks and setups.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site daily.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Willingness to learn to use basic construction tools and equipment.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
