Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Perform heavy lifting, carrying, and manual labor tasks as directed by supervisors
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and light machinery under supervision
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as part of crew operations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and team coordination meetings
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train from the ground up!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro area
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety excellence
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
