Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (training provided)
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Adapt to changing project demands and weather conditions
- Participate in team-based construction activities
- Report hazards and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – all training provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required for hire)
- Willingness to work overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Omaha metro area
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
