Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, cleanup, and safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Maintain a safe, organized worksite by adhering to OSHA standards
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Austin metro area
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
