Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely handle and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Assist Skilled Trades: Support electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with various tasks as needed.
- Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Documentation: Help with inventory checks and reporting daily progress.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; we teach you everything you need to know.
- Willingness to Work Nights: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
