Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and moving materials on the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as framing, drywalling, or concrete finishing.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to ensure accurate work execution.
- Lift, carry, and position heavy construction materials as required by the project scope.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the site supervisor.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (typically 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Reliable transportation to the job site.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required for this entry-level role.
