Job Overview
As a Construction Laborer on our night shift team, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and safely. We value reliability, safety-consciousness, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks.
- Machinery Support: Operate basic construction machinery and equipment under supervision to assist in grading, digging, and hauling.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, excavating, and leveling ground.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, shoveling, and removing waste materials.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other crew members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience Level: No experience required β We are happy to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM or similar).
- Communication: Basic English proficiency required for safety instructions and team coordination.
- Documentation: Must possess a valid government-issued ID and a valid driverβs license.
- Reliability: A strong track record of punctuality and attendance is essential.
