Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including carpentry, painting, and general site preparation.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform basic measurements and cuts according to blueprints or verbal instructions.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down temporary construction barriers and signage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- No prior construction experience is required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
