Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) by providing necessary tools and materials and performing basic setup tasks.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing waste and ensuring tools are stored properly.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks as directed by the site supervisor, including painting touch-ups, drywall hanging, and basic carpentry.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in general construction labor or a related field.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM or 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid Arizona Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Tools: Basic understanding of construction safety protocols (OSHA) and the ability to use basic hand and power tools.
