Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction equipment (forklifts, skid steers) under supervision and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Assistance: Provide general support to carpenters, masons, and electricians as directed by the foreman.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Blueprint Reading: Basic understanding of blueprints and ability to follow project layouts.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction labor or related fields preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (5:00 PM - 3:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Tools: Basic personal hand tools are a plus but not required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
