Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, digging, lifting, and carrying materials to designated sites.
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including cleaning, organizing, and removing debris.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and ensure proper storage.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing work, such as screeding, troweling, or masonry.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Experience in general construction or labor is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Must have your own steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
