Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures and scaffolding.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery, including power drills, saws, and generators, following all safety guidelines.
- Site Maintenance: Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations and company standards.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and reports accurately regarding work performed and materials used.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high-quality standards for all projects, ensuring finished work meets client specifications.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not mandatory. We provide full training for the right candidates.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (typically 5:00 PM – 3:00 AM) on a regular basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Communication Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with the team.
- Safety Focus: Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work weekends or overtime when necessary.
