Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting forms for concrete.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradesmen (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Support: Operate power tools and basic construction equipment safely and efficiently during night shifts.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for 8-10 hours a day in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is a plus, but we provide paid on-the-job training.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand safety instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
