Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Setup: Assist in clearing and preparing construction sites, including digging, grading, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport heavy construction materials to and from the job site using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction tools and equipment safely under supervision (e.g., saws, drills, generators).
- Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized worksite, ensuring all tools are stored properly and adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Crew Support: Collaborate closely with foremen and other crew members to complete daily tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Waste Management: Remove debris, trash, and scrap materials from the site regularly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for 8-10 hours a day, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts consistently (e.g., 4:00 PM β 2:00 AM).
- Valid ID: Must possess a valid driverβs license and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Communication: Basic English skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Safety Mindset: A strong commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention protocols.
