Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris, obstacles, and hazardous materials.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Assist Trades: Provide general support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and welders, as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools, such as jackhammers, saws, and compressors, following all safety guidelines.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all materials and work areas are kept clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all crew members.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction labor, general labor, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for long periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs) and standing.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the project schedule.
- Transportation: Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable personal transportation.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
