Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site tasks, including framing, drywall, and concrete work.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including excavation, debris removal, and leveling.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure zero accidents.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work rotating night shifts (typically 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices (OSHA 10 preferred).
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
