Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under night shift conditions
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation and cleanup operations
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Transport materials using equipment like forklifts or wheelbarrels as needed
- Complete daily time logs and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours during night shift hours (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime during project deadlines
