Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute building materials to and from the job site.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate basic construction equipment and tools under supervision of a foreman.
- Support Trades: Provide general labor support to electricians, carpenters, and other skilled tradespeople.
- Quality Control: Help maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness throughout the shift.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous construction or labor experience is preferred; training provided for qualified candidates.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Location: Willingness to work in the Charlotte, NC area.
