Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing work areas by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling grounds.
- Machinery Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing trash and debris regularly.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials (up to 50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM).
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
