Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist with general site preparation, including loading materials, digging trenches, and clearing debris.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under the direct supervision of our experienced foremen.
- Material Management: Receive, inventory, and distribute construction materials to ensure the workflow remains uninterrupted.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople to support various phases of construction.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical labor, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent attendance record.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are highly preferred.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal instructions clearly.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
