Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, concrete pouring, and framing tasks under supervision
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, forklifts) with proper certification
- Inspect and maintain job site safety protocols and equipment
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for precise execution
- Coordinate with tradesmen (electricians, plumbers) for seamless workflow
- Manage material inventory and waste disposal efficiently
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Strong communication skills for team coordination
- Pass pre-employment background and substance screening
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
