Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work site
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we provide paid training!
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical fitness assessment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends as needed
