Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and safety guidelines
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs), digging, and material transport
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Support team members to meet project deadlines and quality benchmarks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we provide comprehensive training
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with a commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Omaha metro area
