Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic equipment like hand tools, power tools, and small machinery under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying materials, and operating equipment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we train!
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites
