Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including digging, carrying materials, and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to meet safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Follow verbal instructions from site supervisors and foremen
- Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere to OSHA guidelines
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Complete minor cleanup and debris removal operations
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required (training provided)
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must have reliable transportation to job sites
