Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and basic construction tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely (hammers, saws, drills, levels) under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow strict safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying materials
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with site supervisors
- Participate in job-site safety briefings and training sessions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for daily start times (6:00 AM)
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and following instructions
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily
