Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout the workday
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
- Participate in team-based construction projects with clear instructions
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Memphis area
