Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Perform general labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Participate in team-based projects to meet construction deadlines
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory)
- Willingness to undergo paid safety training and certification
- Strong work ethic and reliability with punctual attendance
- Basic communication skills for teamwork and instruction comprehension
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
