Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Prepare and maintain job sites by cleaning debris and organizing tools/equipment
- Load/unload construction materials safely using proper lifting techniques
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (saws, drills, etc.)
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Complete daily task reports and communicate progress to site supervisors
- Participate in team huddles to ensure project alignment and quality standards
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience necessary - we train from the ground up!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and reliability
- Basic understanding of verbal instructions in English
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
