Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks and project completion.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions when necessary.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and transport them to the job site.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and reliability are essential.
