Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Support various construction phases including framing, roofing, and finishing
- Complete daily tasks efficiently and meet productivity standards
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
- No prior construction experience required
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic math skills for measuring materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites across New Orleans
