Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and safe job sites by removing debris and following OSHA safety protocols
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Participate in daily site briefings and team meetings
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide paid training
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
