Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Perform physical labor such as digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand tools
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions from supervisors
- Operate light machinery like jackhammers and concrete saws under supervision
- Assist in setting up and breaking down job site equipment and scaffolding
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience necessary – we provide full training!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced crew leads
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Pass pre-employment physical examination and drug screening
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
